Don Mueang International Airport

The Don Mueang International Airport is about 30min away from downtown by car, but when you arrive at Bangkok, there are few ways to go downtown. Airport Bus and taxi are the only one coming to the terminal, and you can also use local bus and National Rail if you walk to the main street outside the airport. The main airport for Bangkok has changed to Suvarnabhumi Airport since 2006.

BTS Skytrain

Bus (Coach), National Rail, and Airplane are the transportation for long distance. BTS (Skytrain), Bus, Boat, Motorcycle, Tuktuk, and taxi are available in Bangkok. You need to negotiate the price before you ride on Motorcycle and Tuktuk. The new underground service, MRT, in Bangkok was began on 2004. If you go suburb, you will also find colectivo.
