George Town, Penang Island
Komtar is the tallest building in the town, and the main bus station as well as the shopping center is located there. You can find several budget guesthouses there.
One of the best China towns in Malaysia is also located in Penang. You can enjoy delicious Chinese food everywhere.
Taking the overnight coach service departed at 23:30, it arrived in Kuala Lumpur at 05:30. Each operator has different timetable and changes every season. I suggest you check and buy your ticket few hours in advance at the bus terminal.
Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia. Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the High Court of Malaya, has a symbolic clock tower.
This is the bus terminal I arrived early morning.
I had no idea of where I was walking to and I happened to find a guest house in China town. This guesthouse even provided me a free city map.
China town is very crowded commercial area and they even had a market on a street.
This is Bukit Bintang, one of the old shopping areas in new town.
Have you tried this restaurant? This is the famous one from Japan.
This is Times Square shopping center, but seems quite empty.
This is LRT Putra Line. The longest full automatic controlled train.
GPO, the central post office is located near Pasar Seni station on Putra Line.
My friend house, Klang
Klang is an hour train ride away from Kuala Lumpur.
The city looks very old, but very crowded.
They even got a cute mini school bus.
Shop for an Indian hat... No, just trying!
Klang is known as the busiest port and the passenger services are held until midnight for local people.
Going Home, Klia Airport, Kuala Lumpur
The express train to the airport is running from KL Sentral station every 15 minutes.
Klia Airport is 30 minutes away by Klia Express.
You can easily find Air Asia check-in counter.
*Air Asia has been moved to LCC Terminal, so it may take very long time to move the terminal from the station.
You will see a lot of red and white color aircraft around the terminal. Guess what they are!?
